when in london

                                                              Zara Nude Loafers - £25.99
                                                    Forever 21 Open Toe Boots - £25.00
Bershka Nude Pink Handbag - £22.99

So, whilst in London I managed to pick up a few things! Obviously a trip to Forever 21 was needed, I came across these open toed black boots and absolutely loved them. I was surprised to find that they were comfortable, which is unusual for a pair of boots! And for the price of £25.00 I personally couldn't bring myself to leave the store without them, they were an absolute bargain and will go with near enough anything!

Whilst I couldn't take my mind of the topic of shoes I found these gorgeous nude loafers in Zara. I'd been searching for these everywhere and had just about given up on finding them in my size, Until luckily i came across them in Westfield. The Camera really does not give these loafers justice, they're a gorgeous nude pink reptile print and are incredibly comfortable; Considering purchasing flat shoes is a very rare thing for me , I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I'm sure they're going to be worn to death.

Of course once new shoes have been purchased, as all girls know, having a bag to match is a necessity, I opted for this structured pale pink basic shopper bag from Bershka. This bag is so spacious and is perfect for those days where I need to take a lot of things out and about with me and compared to many other handbags this was relatively cheap. Overall  I can say I'm definitely happy with these purchases!

Classy Casual

Sorry for the lack of images with this post, I was just adjusting to using my Cannon 700D and I'm still getting to grips with it! So this is one of my outfits purchased from yesterdays shopping trip. As soon as I saw this pair of straight legged trouers from Topshop I fell in love. They're so comfortable and can be dressed up or down. They're was quite a range of colours, but I chose to go with the navy pair as these seemed to be the easiest to style and to be honest I don't ever really go out of my comfort zone when it comes to colourful clothing! These beauties cost me £40, however they're such good quality and such a nice fit that they were definitely worth it!

I decided to pair them with this textured blue and white patterned top from zara. This caught my eye as soon as I saw it and I instantly thought it would be perfect for spring. This top can either be dressed up as I have with this outfit, or dressed down by pairing it with jeans and a flat pair of boots. This look would be perfect for an evening meal or even going out for drinks! I paired the outfit with a suede black pair of heels from boohoo, and a black envelope clutch which I cant remember where its from, sorry! Thanks for reading!

How Much Does My Face Cost?!

I was very hesitant to writing this blog post, the main reason being is I think knowing how much my daily makeup costs me scares me! Its shocking how many products we wear every day and also how much we spend on them! However I Finally braved it and totalled up my daily cost for my face. So this is how much my face is worth!

                                                          Simple face toner - £3.29
Simple kind to skin moisturiser - £2.19
                                                        simple face wipes - £2.16
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer - £5.99
Mac Studio Fix Fluid - £21.50

Yve Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick - £26.00

                                                                     £192.80

I know its going to sound bad, But I'm actually quite happy with that price! I've come across so many bloggers that spend over £400 on their daily face, So I'm personally okay with £192.80. However I'm sure after my upcoming shopping trip to London it will be costing a lot more! Thankyou for reading!

Change Of Comfort

Nike Air Max Thea White - Office

As much as I adore my boots, heels and court shoes, every girl needs a comfortable, fashionable pair of trainers. I've opted for a white pair of 'Nike Thea Air Max'. I chose this pair as they're very comfortable but they're also incredibly easy to style, especially in white.

The white Air Max Thea go with near enough any outfit, I myself personally style them with ripped jeans and a shirt creating a casual look. The fit of the trainer is very snug, And unlike my other shoes and boots, they don't leave my feet feeling sore and worn out. I purchased mine from office for £85.00 which I feel is a justifiable price for footwear that will last me long and  I will wear to death.
I love these as they're easy to pair with any outfit as most of my outfits tend to be black or grey.
As we're all aware keeping pristine white trainers white is never successful, However my attempts to keep them pristine so far are going well. These are definitely a staple piece in my wardrobe and are perfect for casual outfits.

Yve Saint Laurent Deep Berry Lip

Throughout the past four months, my attempts to find a perfect berry lip colour had failed miserably, However, whilst browsing amongst the many makeup counters within John Lewis I came across Yves Saint Laurent 'Rouge Pur Couture'.

The deep plum instantly caught my attention as I glanced at the counter. This Lip colour is a buildable, Long-lasting, Semi-Matte lipstick. Although difficult to apply it is most definitely worth the time and effort once the end result has been accomplished. Whilst applying this lip colour I usually line and fil in my lips using a lip brush, and then used the lipstick straight from the bulllet for a more intense Look.vWhether you're looking for a bold and vibrant look, or even a sheer and subtle hint of colour this lipstick Is perfect. I find that the deep shade compliments my pale skin, However it would also compliment any other skin tone well, especially paired with a a bold smoky eye. This product is perfect for a sultry evening makeup look .

The price of £25.00 most definitely reflects the quality of this product. This lipstick is now a necessity within my makeup collection and will remain to be for years to come.

How I Clean My Makeup Brushes

One thing we all avoid is cleaning our makeup brushes, every girl is guilty of this. Not cleaning your makeup brushes is not only damaging for the brushes, but also on your skin. Our makeup brushes harbour oil, dirt and millions of disgusting bacteria which can damage the fibres of the brush but also tend to cause breakouts. I opt for a method that makes cleaning my makeup brushes straightforward and simple, and is also inexpensive.

All that's needed is washing up liquid ( Any of your preference) and olive oil. mix the two in a bowl and add a splash of water. Take your brushes individually and dip them into the soulution, then, using the palm of your hand, swirl the brushes into your palm; This will deeply cleanse the brush. Once you've cleansed all the brushes with the solution wash them individually. When washing them run them under a cold tap and swirl them in your palm once again, to ensure all of the solution and dirt is removed from your brush squeeze from the neck to the tip of the brush, do this until the liquid runs clear. Once both of these steps have been completed lay your brushes flat on a paper towel and leave to air dry. Once they have been left over night they should feel super soft and clean. Then all that's left to do Is store them how you regularly do!

I find this method cleans my brushes thoroughly and leaves a pleasant scent (depending on your choice of washing up liquid). I hope you found this helpful!

Smokey Nude

So, as a blue eyed pale skin girl,Smokey Eyes have always personally intimidated me, Like any girl I would attempt a sexy smokey look hopelessly packing on the darkest black from my palette and attempting to blend it out only to be left looking like a distraught panda. However after experimenting with various brushes and products I've finally found a combination that I love. This light sultry look works well as it doesn't appear to harsh on my skin. I love this look as I feel as though its a soft day to day look and is easily achievable. This casual smoky eye and nude lip can be achieved by using five basic products In ten minutes.

For my subtle Smokey eye I've Used the Bobbi Brown Brow Kit as I find that this also doubles as a perfect eye shadow. I use the shades Cement and Birch (Cement being the lighter taupe shade). I start off by taking the shade Cement on my Lancôme 17 Blending shadow brush, I lightly work this into my crease. To intensify the Smokey eye I then took the shade Birch on a basic angled brush from Wilkinson's and ran this along my lower lash line. To deepen the crease I then used the shade Birch on the same Lancôme brush and blended this lightly.  If you were looking for a darker result with the eye shadow I would recommend to use a deeper brown shade in the crease and also along on the lower lash line.

For my lips I used Topshop Lip Bullet in the shade 'Motel'. This lip colour is a deep nude, If you prefer to have a dark nude lip then simply use this product on its own. However, with my pale skin I feel that using this product alone is too harsh; Therefore I layer Revlon's Colour Burst Lip Butter In 'Crème Brulee' to leave a glossy effect that also lightens the colour.

Unfortunately Topshop Lip bullet in 'Motel has been Discontinued, However a great Dupe for this is Rimmel Lasting Finish in the shade 'Rossetto'

Bobbi Brown Brow Kit - John Lewis
                                                                       £35

Lancôme 17 Blending Shadow Brush - John Lewis
                                                                       £22

Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Lipstick 'Rossetto' - Superdrug
                                                                        £5.49

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter 'Crème Brulee' - Boots
                                                                        £7.99

Mac Studio Fix Fluid Review

Being a pale skin girl myself I've constantly struggled when it comes to finding  a foundation that not only matches my skin, but is also kind to my sensitive skin. However, After reading many reviews of 'Mac Studio Fix Fluid' I decided to join the crowd and give it a try.

I was surprised by the small, sturdy packaging, I feel that you're paying more for quality than quantity when it comes to this product due to the minimal 30ml you receive for £21.50; However despite the costly price the foundation is indefinitely worth it, this foundation gives a flawless coverage with a matte finish, which I love. The consistency is thin which makes application smooth and hassle free. I feel that foundation is one beauty product that should be invested in, and this foundation is most definitely worth the investment.

The foundation was easy to apply and gave an even medium coverage for my skin. I wear the shade NC15 and this is perfect for my skin, I found the foundation to last the entire day which I found rather impressive compared to my previous foundations. As an added bonus it also contains SPF15 so it's perfect for those summer days!

Priced at £21.50 you cannot complain with the high quality of this product, This is one of my personal favourite beauty products, I would highly recommend.
